The San Jose Redevelopment Agency has retained Synergy EV, Inc. and the Environmental Business Cluster (EBC), to perform consultant services associated with an economic development initiative that the City of San Jose has recently embarked upon. The project involves a proposal to develop an Electronic Transportation Development Center (ETDC) in San Jose .

This effort will require collaboration with San-Jose Silicon Valley technology companies to help;
(1) reduce our dependency on foreign oil,
(2) reduce vehicle pollution in the air, ENERGY/ENVIRONMENT and
(3) improve the security of Homeland ground transportation. HOMELAND SECURITY

The project involves a proposal to develop an Electronic Transportation Development Center in San Jose . This proposed center is envisioned as a facility where ground transportation manufacturers can collaborate with hardware, software and communications solutions to improve vehicle efficiency and safety.
